Mindfulness Meditation with Avery.
When I first experienced the impact mindfulness had on my own life, it sparked a passion for sharing it with others to help people feel more grounded, supported, and connected. I’m a graduate of Jon Kabat-Zinn’s Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program through Jefferson Health’s Myrna Brind Center for Mindfulness, and I continue to deepen my practice through workshops and training with respected mindfulness professionals.
Alongside my personal practice, I have the privilege of leading regular mindfulness sessions at my workplace for employees, physicians, and nurses. I’ve also facilitated mindfulness and journaling workshops through Focus Barre + Yoga, the Philadelphia chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), and youth support groups.
